Animal Care Services

Orange County has provided contractual animal care services for the City since its incorporation in 2000. The City agrees to enact and maintain ordinances identical in intent to those adopted by the Orange County Board of Supervisors concerning animal care, including those which relate to fees.

Visiting Hours (for "Available" pets)

Wednesday (Extended Hours) - 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

*During times of low staffing, the following modified visiting hours may apply:
Open Daily - 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday (Extended Hours) - 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Bring your cat or dog for low cost vaccinations from the Society for California Veterinary Vaccine Care and pet licensing from OC Animal Care. Cash or credit card ($3 processing fee) is the only forms of payment accepted. AVID micro identification chips are also available which includes the registration and continuous, 24/7 lifetime monitoring.

Important Rabies Information

If you have a prior Rabies vaccine certificate, license tag or license renewal notice for your pet, please bring it with you to the clinic.
