Trabuco Canyon Water District

In accordance with the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, these districts were formed following public hearings and landowner elections. All of the districts were approved by more than a 2/3 majority. Please note, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita does not levy, administer, collect or use the Community Facilities District (CFD) special taxes, and did not form any of the CFDs affecting the RSM community.

All taxes are incurred annually. They are levied/collected at the same time as property taxes.
  1. Trabuco Canyon Water District CFD 5

    The Trabuco Canyon Water District Community Facilities District (CFD) 5 was used for Sewer treatment capacity, lift Station Number 2 intertie, Lindsey Sewer, Reclaimed Water Facilities, and FCPP Program Contribution.

  2. Trabuco Canyon Water District CFD 7

    The Trabuco Canyon Water District CFD 7 was used for sanitary sewers, lake/drainage facilities, water distribution, Dove Lake Dam/outlet, roadway improvements, utilities, and off-tract improvements.

  3. Trabuco Canyon Water District CFD 8

    The Trabuco Canyon Water District Community Facilities District (CFD) 8 was used for the treatment plant expansion, and water and utility facilities.
