Does the City have sample plans to help me design my project?
The City offers a number of handouts to assist homeowners with common projects. Please refer to the forms and handouts page on the City’s website for: an attached patio cover standard, window replacement requirements, site plan example and template, and others. The City’s plan checkers and building inspectors cannot assist with project design. Their job is to ensure that projects are planned and constructed in accordance with the applicable Building and Safety Code requirements. If you have questions regarding a specific project type, please call the Building Department at 949-635-1800, x. 6101.Forms and Handouts
