Crews will be paving the former median area in preparation for one lane of westbound traffic to be diverted onto the eastbound bridge in mid-August.
The contractor is currently working both on the bridge deck and underneath. Paving over the former median area will allow one lane of westbound traffic to be diverted onto the eastbound bridge. The projected timeframe for the traffic shift is mid-August.

Low-Cost Pet Care Clinics will resume on Wednesday, August 5th. Hosted by the City of Rancho Santa Margarita with Veterinarian Services provided by H.E.A.R.T.

Preparation for construction on the Santa Margarita Parkway bridge will begin this week. Electronic messaging boards will be placed at two locations to inform motorists of planned impacts to traffic.
Preparation is underway to begin the Santa Margarita Parkway Bridge Hinge Maintenance Project, slated to start in early July.

Enforcement of street sweeping parking restrictions was suspended during the statewide stay-at-home order. Due to the lifting of many restrictions, enforcement will restart on June 15, 2020.
