How can I purchase the vouchers?
1. You may download an order form from our website here and mail in your order.
2. Copy or use the order form from the City’s Community Living Magazine which is mailed to all RSM residents and mail in your order.
3. Come in to the Bell Tower Regional Community Center between the hours of 8:00am-9:00pm, Monday through Friday and purchase them in person.

How far in advance should I call California Yellow Cab for pick up?
California Yellow Cab requests that you call them 24 hours in advance for more efficient scheduling but it is not necessary.

24 hours a day, any day.

What is the age to qualify?
Adults 60 years and over, please be prepared to show identification to driver if asked.

The vouchers expire every year on June 30, new vouchers will be available for use on July 1st.

Anywhere within the city limits to and/or from Rancho Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Niguel, and the Orange County Airport.

Which taxi cab company can the vochers be used with?
The City vouchers are for use with the California Yellow Cab company only. Please be aware of this when taking a cab from John Wayne Airport since many cab companies look alike, if you use the wrong taxi service you will be liable for any expenses incurred.

Who can use the vouchers?
Any resident of the City of Rancho Santa Margarita, including residents of Dove Canyon and Trabuco Canyon.

What are the costs? One way or round trip? Is this per person or per ride?
Costs vary depending on destination. The prices range from $5 to $30 per voucher each way. Please see order form for clarification.
