The purpose of the Rancho Santa Margarita Economic Development Committee (EDC) is to enhance the quality of life in Rancho Santa Margarita by encouraging business development and retention through ongoing communication and outreach to businesses. The EDC meets quarterly on the first Thursday of every calendar quarter from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. The EDC agenda packet is posted on this page at least 72 hours prior to the meeting. The EDC is organized into three Working Groups:
- Business Growth and Retention (meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month)
- Business Attraction (meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month)
- Program Strategic Planning (meets once or twice per quarter as needed)
Agendas and minutes are posted to the City's website for 2 months following each meeting. For copies of earlier Economic Development Committee agendas or minutes, please contact the City Clerk's Department at 949.635.1800 ext. 6201.
