City Manager's MessageGratitude is the theme this month in Rancho Santa Margarita as we head into the holiday season and celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends. On Wednesday, November 8th, the City Council will recognize and thank veterans and their families for the many sacrifices they have made in service to our country. All are welcome; I hope you will join us for the reception at 6:30 pm and the ceremony immediately following at the City Council meeting.
We’ll also be expressing our gratitude to the members of the City’s adopted 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines and their families by collecting gift cards for our Marines and Sailors to use for gas, grocery purchases, clothing, and household items. New toys are also being collected for the units’ holiday party. Donations can be dropped off at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center through December 15th. As we give thanks for the abundant spirit of giving that defines Rancho Santa Margarita, I wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Cervantez
