Rain Ready

Prepare your home and help prevent runoff. Remember to remove loose tree branches, clear debris from gutters, downspouts and low areas in yards or patios that could cause water back-ups. Prevent runoff pollution into streets and storm drains by collecting any trash or landscape clippings from your property and check drains to make sure they are free of debris. If clogged, clean them and properly dispose of the debris.  Also, check the catch basin at the end of your street and report any flooding or blockage issues.

To report downed trees, flooding or other rain-related issues during office hours, call 949-635-1800. After hours, call the Sheriff's Department's non-emergency line at 949-770-6011. You can also report issues online to the City here.

Sandbag

Erosion Control

Most Orange County Fire Authority stations have empty sandbags available. Several OCFA fire stations have both sand and sandbags. Supply is limited and based on demand and availability. Please visit https://www.ocfa.org/AboutUs/Departments/OperationsDirectory/Sandbags.aspx for more information.

Residents are encouraged to bring their own shovels, and crews may or may not be present to fill sandbags. Sand and sandbags can also be obtained at building supply stores.
