Carol Gamble will serve as Mayor, and Brad McGirr will serve as Mayor Pro Tempore for the 2024 term. City Council members made the one-year appointments during their annual reorganization on Wednesday.
Each December, the Council selects a new mayor and mayor pro tem from among its five members.
This is Carol Gamble's fourth mayoral term. She was elected to serve on the inaugural City Council and was Mayor in 2017, 2014, and 2001.
Brad McGirr was first elected to the City Council in 2012 and was Mayor in 2015 and 2020.
The City Council will reconvene on January 10, 2024.
