[ARCHIVED] Sandbags available at no cost for property protection

Significant rain storms forecasted Thursday night through Saturday


With a series of significant rain storms forecasted through Monday of next week, the City of Rancho Santa Margarita is reminding residents that sandbags are available free of charge at the following locations to protect properties by providing erosion control due to the impending rain. 


Most Orange County Fire Authority fire stations have EMPTY SANDBAGS, including Fire Station 45, located at 30131 Aventura in Rancho Santa Margarita.


Fire Station 18 has both SAND and SANDBAGS and is located at 30942 Trabuco Canyon Road.  OCFA Personnel recommends that residents wishing to obtain sand and/or bags visit the station(s) during regular business hours. Visit www.ocfa.org for additional information.
