The City Council on Wednesday, December 13th selected Michael Vaughn to serve as Mayor and Jerry Holloway to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore.
Mayor Vaughn was
elected to the City Council in 2014. Mayor Pro Tempore Holloway served on the City Council from 2002 - 2012, holding the office of Mayor in 2005 and 2010.
During Wednesday's meeting, the City Council also recognized outgoing Mayor Carol Gamble for her service to the community during this past year.
The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. The Council‘s December 27th meeting has been canceled due to the holidays.
