The public is invited to recognize and thank Mayor Vaughn for his service to the City of Rancho Santa Margarita on Wednesday, December 12th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall.
Rancho Santa Margarita voters re-elected Council Members Jerry Holloway and Brad McGirr, and elected former Planning Commissioner Anne Figueroa to office, according to the "unofficial" election results from the Registrar of Voters. The City Clerk will certify the election on December 12, 2018. The Council Members will take the Oath of Office to serve four-year terms. During the December 12 meeting, the Council will select a new Mayor and Mayor Pro Tempore for 2019. Mike Vaughn has served as Mayor and Jerry Holloway as Mayor Pro Tempore this year.
The City Council meets at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month in the Council Chamber at 22112 El Paseo. Meetings are streamed live on the City’s website.
