Donations are sought for the City's adopted 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines.
The City of Rancho Santa Margarita adopted the 2nd Battalion 5th Marines (2/5) on January 10, 2007, to support the Marines and their families on an ongoing basis, whether the unit is at Camp Pendleton or deployed.
Our Community Services Department works closely with the Deployment Readiness Coordinator year-round to coordinate volunteer assistance for events such as the City's Patriot Day Commemoration, the Battalion Holiday Party, barracks projects, homecomings, and other events and programs.
Your donation will further the mission of supporting our Marines and their families. Items may be dropped off at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Donations of candy for the upcoming Trunk n' Treat event at Camp Pendleton are being accepted through Friday, October 20th.
Donations of new or gently used formal wear are accepted from October 1st through 31st.
