The City is hosting a second community workshop on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the El Paseo room of the Bell Tower Regional Community Center for residents to participate in the process of transitioning to by-district elections.
The City of Rancho Santa Margarita, like hundreds of cities and school districts across the state, is making a change in how voters elect its City Council. Beginning in 2024, voters will vote for one City Council Member who lives in their district. This will replace the current system of at-large citywide elections, where voters can vote for all five City Council Members.
The City is hosting a second community workshop at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center on Saturday, September 23, 2023. The workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. and is scheduled to last until noon.
