February 2, 2026 — The City of Rancho Santa Margarita has proudly partnered with the RSM Cares Art Hub since its inception. The program’s first exhibition debuted in March 2020, just days before the COVID-19 shutdown. While the unexpected pause could have stalled its momentum, the Art Hub instead emerged stronger than ever, thanks to the dedication and leadership of RSM Cares President Sherri Lex and local artists Herb Proske and Jim McLoughlin.
Since that time, the RSM Cares Art Hub has grown into a vibrant and inspiring community of artists and art enthusiasts united by a shared mission: to foster creativity and celebrate the arts in Rancho Santa Margarita. Located in the lobby of the Bell Tower Community Center, the Art Hub brings together local artists on the first Monday of each month for collaborative gatherings that encourage the exchange of ideas, techniques, and opportunities. From experienced professionals to emerging creatives, artists of all backgrounds find a welcoming and supportive space to share their work and develop their talents.
The Bell Tower Community Center also features a dedicated rotating exhibition wall, offering residents and visitors the opportunity to enjoy new local artwork throughout the year. These exhibits showcase professional artists, emerging talent, and student artists from Rancho Santa Margarita schools, reflecting the City’s ongoing commitment to supporting arts education and creative expression.
In addition to its in-person programming, the RSM Cares Art Hub maintains a strong online presence through its Instagram gallery, which features more than 1,000 artworks and a growing community of nearly 600 followers. The group continues to meet on the first Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Bell Tower Regional Community Center.
